Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in conservation

If you really get a taste for the place, you might find yourself wanting to get to know it in more depth. Residential and local volunteering opportunities are available in the heart of the Flow Country where you can help with important work to conserve peat bogs and protect wildlife.

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in conservation, whatever your background, skills and aspirations. People volunteer for a range of reasons, from gaining work experience and meeting like minded people, to getting active in the outdoors and learning about a new place. Volunteering offers opportunities to learn, enjoy and gain experience in several different fields, all whilst contributing to the conservation of nature, wildlife and ecosystems.

Here in the Flow Country, the RSPB offer several ways to get involved. For information about volunteering opportunities in the Flow Country contact: [email protected]
